In this pdf I have transcribed five Wes Montgomery solos from his pop phase. The focus is on his octave playing. Three of the five solos are based on modal or static chord progressions and show his rhythmic and tonal variability when he improvises over just a few chords. The other two show his flexibility over slightly more extended chord progressions and his fantastic single-note playing.
